Litchfield Who's Who
Public Profile
As the director of Savo Constructions, I value quality workmanship, honest communication and attention to detail in every project.
Outside work, I enjoy hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors, but my greatest priority is spending time with my two children.
For specialist and custom projects, we also work across NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.
Led by Jyri Karisto, who brings over 20 years of construction experience, our team combines skilled craftsmanship with quality materials and a strong focus on safety and compliance with the National Construction Code and Australian Standards.
We value clear communication, transparent pricing and careful planning, giving clients a realistic understanding of costs and inclusions from the outset. Local references are available on request.

Distinguished and Famous people from Litchfield
🤝 Garry Fischer
Garry Fischer was recognised as Litchfield’s Citizen of the Year in 2026 for nearly two decades of service with the Berry Springs Volunteer Bushfire Brigade. His contribution is rooted in the rural community around Berry Springs and the wider municipality. Volunteer firefighting is sustained work, extending beyond the emergencies that reach the news. The council’s recognition gives his entry a clear basis in local service, a named organisation and a dated award. It is the kind of contribution through which a resident can be distinguished locally without a national entertainment or sporting profile.
🤝 Jack Logan
Jack Logan received Litchfield’s Young Citizen of the Year award in 2026 for his volunteer work with St John Ambulance NT. Council recorded hundreds of hours supporting community events and his achievement of Advanced Responder accreditation. At 24, he was already contributing practical skills to the people gathering at local activities. His association is through service to the Litchfield community, supported by the award record. The story broadens a local Who’s Who beyond celebrity: skilled volunteers help make the district’s public life possible.
